From June 9 to 14, sport anglers will meet again at Marina Hemingway to renew friendships and share the excitement of this annual event. June 10: First day of fishing

Tournament regulations
- The tournament is governed by the rules of the IGFA.
- Teams of up to 4 fishermen
- Fishing line allowed in the Ernest Hemingway tournament is 50-pound test line
- Method: Tag and Release
- Only the captain and one other representative per boat will attend the Captains' Meeting.
- Tag and Release notification of a capture has to be reported to the control tower of the marina, indicating the time of the capture, the team's number and the area where the catch occurred.
- The radio channel used during the tournament for communicating with the control tower and with the participant boats is 63A VHF.
- Decisions by the Cuban Fishing Federation jury with regard to the validation of the catch, by the Tag and Release system, supported by photographs, will be final. Complaints or alleged violations of regulations must be made in writing and must be received by the jury within two hours of the end of each fishing day.
- All photo negatives and photographs taken with the official tournament cameras are the property of the jury.
- A listing of the crews must be provided at the time of registration.
